photography skills challenge-

Bob - 5,000,000,000,000

Jointhetrain - 1 (for the gate with the snow)

hah does that prove how much i liked them? the lighthouse is the best by the way.. and even though i have an aversion to animal pictures, i must say those looked pretty doggone kool!

yessir, they are pretty cool pictures! i also would like to know hwo you lost your camera in fifty feet of seawater though?

Losing a camera overboard is a lot easier than you think - especially when you go into the water at the same time as the camera. I was shooting on a boat with the 20mm wide angle, holding onto some rigging with one hand and leaning back. It doesn't take too much imagination to see what happened... At least we weren't underway. I had 5 other bodies with me, so when I got back on board, it was back to work. BTW - there's a lesson in this: Don't worry about the camera when you're not a good swimmer!

Bob all I can say is that jointhetrain underestimates you when he says he is jealous of your 4x5 negative skills.. man Im jealous of all your skills! Great work, you are truly a proffesional, and I can only hope to one day be as good as you.. Also uts so cool you are a war vet thats awesome man (atleast i think you are? you said you were stationed in germany right..) Looking forward to more pics!
