ok well if you havent figured out i hate vista.. macs rule bc you can connect your nikon to them and download pics in an instant! nikons are cool too because they are sweet looking and have user friendly features for noobs like me.. i recently purchased an S9 and had a few questions about picture quality.. while it says its 6.1 mp i feel like its only putting out 4. is this because its on some factory setting? if you know the answer, help me out as im looking to squeeze the most out of it as i can!! thanks,

Congrats on your purchase of the S9

I'm pretty sure you cant change the amount of MP your camera uses while you take a picture but what you can do is change the resolution in your photo (I'm not really sure how to but the manual should tell you) to the highest resolution it can take
