Does drowning a Nikon F in the Raritan Bay count? If so, yeah, I dropped one in over 50 feet of seawater (it's still on the bottom if you want to go fish it out). It has a real nice 20mm lens on it, or at least it WAS a real nice 20mm lens, it's been down there since 1983...

ahh vista, the words of a rookie! any camera fanatic that has been at it for more than ten years is going to inevitably break something! you ready for my story? i had put my camera on my roof one night, and left the shutter on so i could see the stars move. than, i heard a BANG in the house.. yes it was my camera, off the roof, into the grass. but it still worked.YES i thought i had gotten lucky! the next night, i set it out again, this time on the grass for fear of the same thing happening again. then, when i woke up the next morning, (no joke) a deer was in my yard.. eating it! thats just one of my crazy mishaps woth cameras!
