I just got my D200 about a month ago and still haven't had the chance to really play around with it. I bought it from Cameta Camera and it came with a Tamron AF70-300mm and Tamron AF28-800 lens. I'm assuming it's okay for now, but I have two questions.
1. I know the Nikon Nikkor 18-200mm lens is a pretty good "all around lens", but see most stores are out of this model. Anyone have any idea when Nikon would be shipping them out? 2. I've also seen some photographs in which images taken look like small scale model toys like this website http://discovermagazine.com/2006/jul/toys/ Anyone have any idea what type of lens their using? Thanks in advance! |

I am not un US so can't comment about the lens not in the market. About shooting tiny models, I think any good macro lens would be fine. I have heard very good reviews of Nikon 105mm macro and I think Temron lens I dont remeber the model though
hope this is helpful
