Default Sulpher Springs

Couldn't find any Elk yesterday so instead I thought I'd give a little History lesson....
No Not Really, but I thought Y'All might find this interesting.
I'm posting the whole sign first but it's a bit hard to read soooo I'm posting it in two halves too....still a little hard to read at least for me....
The bullet holes someone put in it doesn't help.







And now how one of the springs looks today (there are several surrounded by trees)
Can you see it bubbling?

A pic of what some of the springs look like at a distance.
Most of the ones that are active right now are down in those trees.
The gray area in the middle is where they took the picture that is on the sign.



What another of the springs looks like empty.....
This one is across and up the road from the last picture.

I cropped them a bit....but other than that no.
I think the sun and my camera settings were just right...

Yeah it is! I love the first one its really cool. That would look amazing with some clouds in the backdrop too!
