Default External Flash?
Anyone here using external flash? If so, what kind?

I just shoot outdoors now, so I never even use the built in flash, but if I get some customers Ill get a ring flash... and a studio in my basement for that matter.. Hmm I would have t set it up when my parents were not home! Lol

Nope

You can use a flash outdoors.. so that doesnt really matter

Yeah.. theres no reason to use a flash outdoors though

Yes there is.. in some situations you would need to use flash sometimes.

There is just so much to say about what has already been said in this short thread...

I'm a little too tired and have a LOT to do before I fly out on assignment Monday morning, so let me just suggest doing some reading. Try John Hedgecoe's "Photography Basics" for starters. The read Jenni Bidner's "The Lighting Cookbook". That should keep you busy for a while.
