Hey, what about a chatroom sort of deal? That might set us apart from other forum sites!

And also its quicker than PMing..

A chat room would be cool!

Id rather not have a chatroom because if people use it they probably wont post as much

But think of the potential benefits of a chatroom!

1 - Lots more traffic coming and going to use the chat room

2 - More users on for longer periods of time, because instead of posting and being done, they are in the middle of conversation

3 - Instant knowledge sharing between users, more convenient than posting

Cons..

1 - Not as many posts

2 - You would have to moniter the conversations which could get boring and tedious

3 - It is probly more expensive to have a site with a chat room

To be fair I made sure to list the potential cons to having a chat room too.. I think it would still be worth it though, even after looking over the list.

Eh.. if you go to sites with chat rooms a lot (there are some with active ones) of them have no activity (the chat rooms)

As for the cons.. 1. yes

2. probably, 3 nope it wouldnt cost more unless i had to buy the chat room software

Its not a bad idea, i just don't think it would really be helpful at the moment. Because TN doesn't have that many people on here at the same time
