How can you NOT print your pix? OK, maybe that didn't sound right... I'll try again...

If you're a digital shooter (probably most here are), own a computer, and have access to image editing software (plenty of good stuff available for little or no cost on the web), and don't make prints - what's stopping you?

There are a lot of very good photo inkjet printers on the market in the $100 to $150 dollar range that make excellent prints. Any of the HP Photosmart series printers would be a good choice to get you started. The only caution though is to stay away from reloaded ink carts and cheap paper. HP's dye based inks have a fantastic color gamut and fade resistance when used on HP's paper. The paper does make a difference, or at least the coating on the paper does. In my own experience, Kodak and Konica Minolta papers don't work well with the HP inks.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
